NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta will hold a public meeting to consider THREE (3) proposed amendments to the municipality’s comprehensive Zoning By-Law.

1.  A revision is required to allow for the use of a rural lot for the development of a personal, non-commercial storage building for the storage of machinery and recreational vehicles. The subject lands on McCully Road are currently vacant. The current Rural zoning does not allow for the use of the property for storage facilities unless such facilities are accessory to a permitted use.

2. A By-Law amendment is required to allow the development of mini storage warehousing facilities on a commercial lot in the community of Riverview Heights.

3. A By-Law amendment is required to allow the development of a commercial facility with a grocery store, farm produce outlet and a gas station in the community of Algonquin.

NOTE: A Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) meeting will take place directly after this meeting.
