ROAD CLOSURE & LANE RESTRICTIONS ON COUNTY ROAD 26
FROM BLUE CHURCH ROAD TO MERWIN LANE

Please be advised that Clarence McDonald Excavating Ltd. has been retained by the United
Counties of Leeds and Grenville for the replacement of the Robinson Culvert on County Road 26
between Blue Church Road to Merwin Lane. The road will be closed beginning Thursday
October 12, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. to Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. There will be lane
restrictions for another week from Thursday, October 19, 2017 to Wednesday, October 25tb,
2017. Please click here for the: detour map and please note that regular updates on construction
projects are available by email or visiting the United Counties internet site at
www.leedsgrenville.com.

The Maynard Transfer Station will be OPEN regular hours (see hours below) throughout the construction. The Robinson culvert that is being replaced is 100 metres east of the Maynard Transfer Station entrance. Therefore local residents on the west side will be able to access the transfer station as usual; however, residents on the east side of the culvert will be required to use the detour.

PITCH-IN
A road side clean up program is held every spring. Start as early as you wish and end by 12pm. Lunch is provided to all volunteers at 12pm. Bag pick up starts at 1pm. For more information or to register and participate call the Township Office.

Waste Diversion 
Recycling and composting reduces the waste that is collected and transported at our Transfer Stations. The more we recycle and compost the higher the waste diversion rate. If we can divert more waste from the transfer station, the township will receive additional funding from Stewardship Ontario to assist in the operation and promotion of recycling at the Transfer Stations.
