BEING A BY-LAW TO ADOPT A TOWNSHIP LOGO/BRAND AND TO SET OUT HOW IT IS TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE TOWNSHIP OFFICIAL SEAL

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
BY-LAW NUMBER 2892
A BY-LAW TO ADOPT A TOWNSHIP LOGOIBRAND AND TO SET OUT HOW IT IS
TO BE USED IN CONJUCTION WITH THE TOWNSHIP OFFICIAL SEAL
WHEREAS Section 249 of the Municipal Act 2001, SO 200las amended, requires
every by-law of the municipality to be under the seal of the corporation;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta deems it
expedient to establish a Township Logo/Brand;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta enacts
as follows:
1. That the Township Seal, attached hereto as Schedule “A”,
only be utilized for Bylaws and all other official documentation of the corporation.
2. That the Township Logo/Brand, attached hereto as Schedule “B”, be utilized for
all other purposes such as letterhead, signage, business cards etc.
3. That this by-law shall come into force and take effect upon receiving the final
passing thereof.
