BY-LAW NO. 3244-2016
BEING A BY-LAW TO NAME A LOCAL MUNICIPAL ROAD IN THE
TOWNSHIP AUGUSTA
WHEREAS section 48 of the Municipal Act, 2001 c. 25 provides that the Council of a
municipality may name a private road after giving public notice of its intention to pass the
by-law;
AND WHEREAS Council has received a request from local residents to name the road
located between Lot 12 and 13, Concession 5, from the 6th Concession Road Southerly
.446 km, as Evelyn Lane;
AND WHEREAS the residents, being those who actually have property interest on the 0 road were consulted and have expressed the approval of the name change
AND WHEREAS no one claims to be adversely affected by the naming of the road;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
AUGUSTA ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. The road located between Lot 12 and 13, Concession 5, from the 6th Concession
Road Southerly .446 km is hereby named Evelyn Lane.
2. This By-Law shall be registered in the Land Registry Office, Prescott, Ontario.
