BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A BUILDING OFFICIAL
FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS 3(2)of the Building Code Act, 1992, SD. 1992, c. 23, as amended,
provides that the Council of each municipality shall appoint a chief building official
and such inspectors as are necessary for the enforcement of said Act.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Augusta deems it necessary and
expedient to appoint RSM Building Consultants to enforce the Building Code Act,
as assigned by the Township.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta
enacts as follows:
1. THAT Gerald Moore, Barbara Moony and Megan Opersko are hereby
appointed as Building Officials to act on behalf of the Chief Building
Official and that as Building Officials, shall perform the duties of the Chief
Building Official as set out in the Building Code Act, 1992, SD. 1992, c.
23, as amended as directed by the Chief Building Official or the Chief
Administrative Officer.
2. THAT this By-Law come into full force and effect as of date of passing.
