BY-LAW NUMBER 3573-2022
BEING A BY-LAW TO DELEGATE SITE PLAN CONTROL APPROVAL TO THE
CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
WHEREAS Section 41 of the Planning Act, amended by Bill 109, to come into effect on
Council to delegate its authority to approve of the municipality as an authorized person
R.S.O. 1990, Chapter P.13 as amended, as July 1, 2022, to be Section 41(4.01) requires
development to an appointed officer, or agent for the purposes of site plan approval; and
WHEREAS it is deemed appropriate that under Section 41 of the Planning Act, R.S.O.
1990, Chapter P.13 as amended, effective July 1, 2022 to provide that site plan approval
be delegated to the Chief Administrative Officer for the Township;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta hereby
enacts as follows that:
1. THAT Council’s power and authority with respect to site plan provided for by Section 41 of the Planning Act R.S.O 1990, amended is hereby delegated to the Chief Administrative Officer.

thereof and take effect July 1, 2022.
