BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A TREASURER FOR THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS Section 286(1) of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 2001, as amended,
provides that Council shall appoint a Treasurer.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Augusta enacts as follows:
1. THAT Mark McDonald is hereby appointed Treasurer for the
Township of Augusta.
2. THAT the Treasurer shall perform the statutory duties of the
Treasurer under the Municipal Act and other legislation.
3. THAT By-Law 3561-2022 and all other By-Laws inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
4. THAT this By-Law come into full force and effect as of September
13, 2022.
