BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY TREASURER FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA

BY-LAW NUMBER 3591-2022
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY TREASURER
FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS Section 286(2) of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 2001, as amended,
provides that Council may appoint a Deputy Treasurer who have all the
powers and duties of the Treasurer under this and any other Act;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable and expedient to appoint a
Deputy Treasurer for the Township of Augusta;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Augusta enacts as follows:
1. THAT Ann Shorey is hereby appointed Deputy Treasurer for the
Township of Augusta;
2. THAT the Deputy Treasurer shall have all the powers and duties of
the Treasurer under the provision of the Municipal Act and other
legislation.
3. THAT By-Law 3320-2022 and all other By-Laws inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
4. THAT this By-Law come into full force and effect as of September
13, 2022.
