BEING A BY-LAW TO REPEAL BY-LAW 3434-2019 (ESTABLISH A MUNICIPAL LAND HUNTING PERMISSION POLICY)

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
BY-LAW NUMBER 3618-2023
A BY-LAW TO REPEAL BY-LAW 3434-2019
(ESTABLISH A MUNICIPAL LAND HUNTING PERMISSION POLICY)
WHEREAS on May 27, 2019 Council passed a By-Law to establish a municipal land
hunting permission policy;
AND WHEREAS the Township of Augusta has sold or plans to sell lands listed in said
By-Law;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta enacts as
follows:
1. That By-Law 3434-2019 is hereby repealed
2. That the Township no longer gives permission for any hunting activities to take
place on municipal property.
3. This By-Law shall come into force and effect upon the date of the final passing
thereof.

Read a third time and passed this 13 day of February, 2023.
