BEING A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 3692-2024, BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT AN EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER (EIO), AN ALTERNATE EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER, A COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR (CEMC), AND AN ALTERNATE COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA

A BY-LAW TO AMEND BY-LAW 3692-2024, BEING A BY-LAW TO
APPOINT AN EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER (EIO), AN ALTERNATNE
EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER, A COMMUNITY EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR (CEMC), AND AN ALTERNANTE COMMUNITY
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR FOR THE CORPORATION
OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS subsection 14(1) of the Emergency Management and Civil
Protection Act. Ontario Regulation 380/04. states every municipality shall designate
an employee of the municipality as its Emergency Information Officer;
AND WHEREAS Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta deems it
advisable and expedient to amend By-Law 3692-2024.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta hereby
enacts as follows that:
1. That By-Law 3692-2024 be amended by removing section 2 and adding the following:
THAT Willow Anderson is hereby appointed Alternate Emergency
Information Officer for the Township of Augusta effective April 28, 2025”; and
2. That the Chief Administrative Office shall notify the Office of the Fire Marshal and
Emergency Management of the amendment; and
3. That all other applicable provisions of By-Law 3692-2024 shall remain in full force and
effect; and
4. That this By-Law shall come info full force and effect as of April 28, 2025.
