BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR (CEMC), AN EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER (EIO), AN ALTERNATE COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR AND AN ALTERNATE EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA

BY-LAW NUMBER 3781-2025
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
COORDINATOR (CEMC), AN EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER (EIO), AN
ALTERNATE COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR AND AN
ALTERNATE EMERGENCY INFORMATION OFFICER FOR THE CORPORATION OF
THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS subsection 10(1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act,
Ontario Regulation 380/04, states every municipality shall designate an employee of the
municipality or a member of council as its Emergency Management Program
Coordinator:
AND WHEREAS subsection 14(1) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection
Act, Ontario Regulation 380/04, states every municipality shall designate an employee
of the municipality as its Emergency Information Officer:
AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable and expedient to appoint a Community
Emergency Management Coordinator, Emergency Information Officer, Alternate
Community Emergency Management Coordinator and Alternate Emergency Information
Officer for the Township of Augusta:
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta hereby
enacts as follows that:
1. THAT Rob Bowman is hereby appointed Community Emergency Management
Coordinator for the Township of Augusta effective May 26, 2025.
2. THAT Willow Anderson is hereby appointed Emergency Information Officer for
the Township of Augusta effective May 26, 2025.
3. THAT Ashleigh Trickey is hereby appointed Alternate Community Emergency
Management Coordinator and Alternate Emergency Information Officer for the
Township of Augusta effective May 26. 2025.
4. THAT the Chief Administrative Office shall notify the Office of the Fire Marshal
and Emergency Management of the designations.
5. THAT By-Laws 3692-2024 and 3773-2025 are hereby repealed; and
6. THAT this By-Law shall come info full force and effect as of May 26, 2025.
