The Corporation Of The Township Of Augusta By-law Number 2612 Beingaby-lawtoadopttheyearlyestimatesandtaxratesandtofurtherprovide For Penalty And Interest In Default Of Payment. Whereassection290(1)ofthemunicipalact2001c.25statesthatalocalmunicipalityshallineach Yearprepareandadoptabudgetincludingestimatesof All Sums Required During Theyearprovidesthat Municipalcouncilsshalladoptanestimatedlevyforthecurrentyearandpassaby-law To Levy A Separate Tax Rate On The Assessment In Each Property Class; Andwhereassectionsofthesaidactrequiretaxratestobeestablishedinthesameproportionto Tax Ratios; Andwhereascertainregulationsrequirereductions In Certain Tax Rates For Certain Classes Or Subclasses Of Property; Now Therefore The Council Of The Corporation Of The Township Of Augusta Enacts As Follows: 1.the Council Hereby Adopts A Tax Levy Of $3,095,062.17 For All Purposes For 2006. 2.thatataxrateof0.005345543isherebyadoptedtobeappliedagainstthewholeofthe Assessment For Real Property In The Residential/farm Class. 3.thatataxrateof0.007723561isherebyadoptedtobeappliedagainstthe Whole Of The Assessment For Real Property In The Multi-residential Class. 4.thatataxrateof0.007197239isherebyadoptedtobeappliedagainstthewhole Of The Assessment For Real Property In The Commercial Occupied Class. 5.thatataxrateof0.005038067isherebyadoptedtobeappliedagainstthewholeofthe Assessmentforrealpropertyinthecommercialvacantunitsandcommercialvacantlandclasses. 6.thatataxrateof0.009682916isherebyadoptedtobeappliedagainstthewholeofthe Assessment For Real Property In The Industrial Occupied Class…
