Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is the senior staff member responsible for the overall administration and strategic leadership of the Township. Reporting directly to Council, the CAO oversees all municipal departments, ensuring that programs and services are delivered effectively, efficiently, and in alignment with Council’s vision and priorities.
In addition to managing day-to-day operations, the CAO provides informed advice and recommendations to Council on municipal policies, procedures and key initiatives. They play a vital role in fostering organizational excellence, enhancing interdepartmental collaboration, and driving continuous improvement in service delivery. The CAO also serves as a key liaison between Council, staff, and the community—supporting transparent governance and responsive municipal leadership.
