Am I On The Voters’ List?
Before voting in the 2026 Municipal Election, residents are encouraged to confirm that their name and information are correctly recorded on the voters’ list by calling the Township Office at 613-925-4231 X100 or emailing officeclerk@augusta.ca
Your voting information may have changed since the last election due to a change of address, name, eligibility, or other circumstances.
If You Are Confirmed on the Voters’ List
If you have confirmed that your name and information are correctly shown on the voters’ list, no further action is required.
You can still bring appropriate identification when you vote to help ensure a smooth voting experience.
If any of your information changes before Election Day, or if you notice an error in your information, please contact the Municipal Clerk’s Office to have the voters’ list updated.
How to Get Added to the Voters’ List
1. Contact the Municipal Clerk’s Office
Contact the Clerk’s Office as soon as possible to request that your name be added to the voters’ list.
2. Provide the Required Information and Identification
You will be required to complete an ‘Application to Amend the Voters’ List’ and to confirm your identity, eligibility and qualifying address. Once confirmed, the Clerk will add you to the Voters’ List and provide you with your Voter Information Letter or ensure it is mailed to you.
Moved Recently?
If you have recently moved within the municipality, or moved to the municipality from another community, do not assume that your voting information has been automatically updated.
Contact the Clerk’s Office to confirm that your name and current address are correctly recorded.
