Hazardous Waste Day – Lombardy

RESIDENTS OF LEEDS & GRENVILLE & GANANOQUE & PRESCOTT CAN DROP OFF HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE FREE OF CHARGE

Examples of Household Hazardous Waste include the following:
• Batteries
• Light bulbs (no ballasts)
• Propane tanks (small & large)
• Antifreeze
• Gas, oil and oil filters
• Driveway sealer
• Stains, paint & paint related products
• Pesticides & fertilizers
• Pharmaceuticals & sharps
• Pool chemicals
• Household cleaning products, i.e., aerosols, bleaches, ammonia, etc.

Not Accepted:
➢ Ammunition, explosives, flares, electronics, appliances, tires,
construction waste, items containing mercury or PCB’s
➢ Commercial and industrial waste will not be accepted.

Please Note:
➢ Waste will only be accepted from residents of Leeds and Grenville, Gananoque and Prescott.
➢ Waste from other municipalities including the City of Brockville will not be accepted.
