Business & New Business of the Year Awards

Each year Council and the Economic Development & Tourism Committee hosts a breakfast to celebrate the accomplishments of two businesses in the Township of Augusta who have shown community involvement and innovation.

The Business of the Year award is given to a business who has shown longevity, community involvement and innovation.

The New Business of the Year award is given to an entrepreneur who has launched a business in the last 1 to 5 years and who has shown community involvement, innovation and sustainability.

2020 AWARD WINNERS

Congratulations to Elmer’s Construction, the 2020 recipient of the Augusta Business of the Year award.

Congratulations also go to Flowers of the Field – this year’s recipient of the Augusta New Business of the Year award.

The awards were given out at a breakfast held Friday, November 6, 2020 at MERC hall.
