2026 dog licenses are now available. By-Law 3745-2024 states that ALL dogs and kennels must be licensed by every year.
To make it easier for residents to purchase their licenses/tags, residents can now apply online and pay by e-transfer.
Dog licences are $18 per dog when applying online prior to April 1. As of April 1, regular licensing fees of $33 per dog apply when applying online.
E-transfers must be sent to tax@augusta.ca. Please note that password-protected e-transfers cannot be accepted.
Once your completed application and payment have been received, your licence, tag, and receipt will be mailed to the address provided.
NOTE: We cannot accept e-transfers that require a password. The payment must be sent directly to tax@augusta.ca.
Licenses for Service & Farm dogs cannot be purchased online as proof of training/registered farm number are now required at time of application. Kennel licenses also cannot be purchased online.
