PARTIAL BURN BAN IN EFFECTpartial burn ban now in effect until further notice

Be advised that as of June 16th, 2023, there is now a Partial Burn Ban in place in Augusta Township.

Permitted Open Air Burning includes: Campfires, outdoor fireplaces, chimeneas, and appliances with a mechanical shutoff, i.e. propane or natural gas equipment

Prohibited Open Air Burning includes: agricultural burns, brush piles, burn barrels, incinerators and other types of outdoor burning not permitted.

We ask residents to remain vigilant, exercise caution when burning and ensure you have a permit!
