At the February 13, 2023 Council meeting, Council repealed By-Law 3434-2019, a By-Law which established a Municipal Land Hunting Permissions Policy. 
This By-Law allowed residents to apply at the Township office each spring and fall to receive permission to hunt on Township owned land.
Due to the Township being in the final stages of selling one of the properties within the Industrial Park, there being other interested parties for the rest of the land as well as Council’s interest in selling surplus properties, the decision was made to repeal the By-Law.
This means that going forward, hunting on Township owned property will no longer be allowed.
The By-Law to repeal By-Law 3434-2019 is By-Law 3618-2023.
