The United Counties of Leeds & Grenville is currently undertaking a review of the Agricultural Areas in the Counties’ Official Plan. This includes properties in the Township of Augusta.
As previously posted, the County held a public consultation meeting to hear about the report and provide input on Wednesday, June 21st, 2023.
For those interested, the proposed changes to the Agricultural Areas draft report and interactive mapping are available on the County’s website.
Changes to the Counties’ Official Plan will result in required changes to the Township’s planning documents. Residents are encouraged to review the draft report and mapping as their property may be proposed to be designated Agricultural.
Refinement to draft mapping and further consultation is anticipated.
