South Grenville Food Bank Challenge: Let’s Make a Difference!
This holiday season, Augusta Township is collaborating with Prescott and Edwardsburgh-Cardinal to help with collection of non-perishable food items for the South Grenville Food Bank.
- Mark Your Calendars for November 30!
From 10 AM to 1 PM, volunteers will be driving around Maitland and Riverview Heights to collect food donations right from your doorstep! This is your chance to contribute directly without even leaving home. - Can’t Make It on Collection Day? No Problem!
Starting December 2, donation boxes will be set up at the Township Office, Fire Station 1 in Maitland, and the Library for your convenience. You’ll have until December 18 to drop off non-perishable items and help us make a BIG impact! (Please check with these locations ahead of time to confirm they are open and ready to accept your donations!) - What We Need:
Canned goods, non-perishable holiday meal essentials, and anything that will help fill the shelves at the South Grenville Food Bank. If you are unable to donate, please consider a monetary donation by visiting their website. - Last Chance to Donate: All donations will be gathered on December 19 for delivery to the Food Bank to ensure they’re ready for families in need. Let’s spread kindness and make a difference this season!
