South Nation Conservation (SNC) also supports Augusta Township and works under a formal agreement with the Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA). Do I Need a Permit?
Before you start a project near a waterbody, wetland, steep slope, or floodplain, check whether you need a permit under Ontario Regulation 41/24: Prohibited Activities, Exemptions and Permits.
Permits may be required for:
- Building or expanding a structure near a watercourse or wetland
- Grading, filling, or excavating land in a regulated area
- Shoreline work (docks, erosion control, etc.)
- Altering a watercourse or drainage pattern
