Circular Materials is a national not-for-profit and was the administrator of the common collection system in Ontario. Circular Materials had been hired by Ontario to run this transition. On June 1st, 2025, Augusta Township went down to two streams of recycling: Container recyclables and Fiber recyclables.
Beginning January 1st, 2026, Augusta Township will begin fully implementing the new framework and Emterra became the new contracting recycling collector as contracted by Circular Materials.
