Augusta Township offers a variety of spaces and services to support community life. From library programs and the Recreation Lending Library to hall rentals and long-term planning we are building vibrant, connected communities. Parks, recreation and cultural services are essential components of a vibrant and engaged community. They significantly contribute to quality of life by enhancing relationships, promoting a sense of belonging, providing opportunities to participate in enjoyable activities, promoting fitness and health, developing the local economy, and protecting the environment for both present and future generations.

Recreation Lending Library
Recreation Equipment Lending Program
Thanks to funding from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, Augusta Township has partnered with the Augusta Township Public Library to offer free recreational and sports equipment rentals to Township residents.
Residents with a valid library card can borrow a wide variety of seasonal equipment—perfect for enjoying active living year-round.
How It Works
Equipment loans are free of charge to all Augusta Township residents with a valid library card.
A liability release form must be signed for each rental.
A refundable deposit is required for items valued at $50 or more.
Items are loaned for a 3-day borrowing period.
For larger items, please contact the Library at least 24 hours in advance to arrange pickup.

North Augusta Hall

Maynard Hall

Maynard Park is a vibrant, year-round community space ideal for sports, gatherings, and outdoor fun. Conveniently located beside the Maynard Park, it serves as a central hub for local programs and events.
This facility is currently CLOSED to event rentals.

Maitland Education and Recreation Center

MERC is a welcoming community hub offering recreational amenities for all ages. It’s a go-to destination for families, sports groups, and residents looking to enjoy the outdoors.

Two children’s play structures

Roebuck Hall

Domville Ball Park

Located at 4733 4th Concession, just off County Road 18 in Domville, this quiet, residential park offers a welcoming space for both recreation and relaxation.
The park features two ball diamonds, dugouts, a canteen, washroom facilities, and a playground — including a high-back accessible swing similar to the one in Maynard, supporting inclusive play for children and caregivers.
With its open green space and peaceful setting, Domville Park is perfect for families, walkers, or neighbours looking to connect and unwind.

The Maynard Recreation Committee is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to support upcoming community programs and events. The committee is looking for help in the following areas:

- Ice Rink Assistance
- General Volunteer Support
