Electors in the Township of Augusta will be voting electronically (by internet or telephone) or by paper ballot for the 2018 Municipal Election.
All eligible voters should receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail the week of September 24th, 2018.
PLEASE KEEP YOUR LETTER IN A SAFE PLACE, YOU WILL NEED THIS TO VOTE!
Electronic voting will be available 24 hours a day for 8 days (October 15 @ 10am to October 22 @ 8pm). Voters can use any touch tone telephone or any device connected to the internet to cast their electronic ballot, including those set up in the Election Help Centre at the Township off and the Augusta Township Library.
You can also vote by paper ballot on October 22 from 10am – 8pm ONLY at the Township office.
Please remember to bring proof of identity and residency.
If you did not receive a letter in the mail, you may not be on the voter’s list or relevant information is incorrect. Please visit the Township office in Maynard with proof of identity and residency between 8:30am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday. If you wait and come in on Oct 22 (when we are open until 8pm), please be sure to come in with enough time to process your voter letter and place your vote before 8pm.
