Located along historic Highway 2 east of Maitland, Homewood Museum preserves the story of six generations of the Jones family and Augusta Township’s agricultural heritage. The museum is closely connected to the internationally recognized Jones Red Fameuse apple developed by Harold Jones in the early 1900s.

Today, the restored site stands as an important heritage destination supported by the Ontario Heritage Trust, the Grenville Historical Society, and Parks Canada.

One of the Township’s most recognized historic landmarks, the Blue Church Memorial commemorates one of the earliest Anglican congregations in Upper Canada.

Located at the intersection of County Road 2 and County Road 31, the site also contains the burial place of Barbara Heck, recognized as a founder of Methodism in Upper Canada.

Point au Baril played an important role during the Battle of the Thousand Islands in 1760 during the French and Indian War. Located along the St. Lawrence River near present-day Maitland, the area remains an important site in Canadian military history.

Explore beautiful gardens, public displays, and horticultural experiences throughout Leeds Grenville. Visitors can enjoy colourful flowers, pollinator habitats, fountains, ponds, sculptures, and unique outdoor spaces.

A working, sustainable cut flower farm. The main cutting field is about 1/4 acre and is divided into an area of rows for annuals, and a section of perennials. Discover a 25×60 greenhouse, raised beds and a barn space that serves as a workshop and flower drying area.  Our cut flowers retail in various places within the community, select farmer’s markets and we sell wholesale to area florists and through the Ottawa Flower Collective. Fresh flowers available for purchase on site.

This private 1.5-acre site with numerous themed gardens, and over 5,000 perennial flowers, flowering shrubs and grasses, was the recipient of the Community Artistic & Cultural Contribution Service Award for 2016 as well as the Doers and Dreamers Award for 2017.  Their mission is to provide a garden habitat that will aid in the conservation and enjoyment of our native butterflies, birds and bees. The property is registered as a Canadian Wildlife Federation ‘Backyard Habitat’.  The gardens feature a Registered Monarch Waystation, Zen Garden, numerous pollinator gardens, and a meadow walk.
