Once a Presbyterian Church, the North Augusta Recreation Committee acquired the Community Hall in 1979. The committee, made up of volunteers, is very active with numerous events scheduled throughout the year, however they’ve become best known for one event in particular – the annual Labour Day Festival. This event has been the end of summer highlight for over 85 years! The Community Hall is host to other events such as euchre nights, fitness classes, an annual Christmas party and movie nights.
