BY-LAW NUMBER 3052 – 2013
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
CO-ORDINATOR AND A COMMUNITY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
CO-ORDINATOR (ALTERNATE)
WHEREAS the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act R.S.O. 1990 c. E 9 requires
every municipality to have an Emergency Management Program
AND WHEREAS By-Law Number 2962 of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta provided
for such a program which also involves the appointment of a Community Emergency
Management Co-ordinator (CEMC)
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta deems it to be
necessary to appoint not only a Co-ordinator but also an Alternate
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta enacts as
follows:
1. Hans Werner-Mackeler is hereby appointed the CEMC for the Township of Augusta.
2. Lindsay Penney is hereby appointed to be the Alternate CEMC for the Township of Augusta.
3. That the CAO shall notify the office of the Fire Marshall and Emergency Management of
these designations.
4. All other By-Laws inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed.
5. This By-Law shall come into full force and affect at the time of passing.
