BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY TREASURER FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA

CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
BY-LAW NUMBER 3320-2017
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY TREASURER
FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS Section 286(2) of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 2001, as amended,
provides that Council may appoint a Deputy Treasurer who have all the powers
and duties of the Treasurer under this and any other Act;
AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable and expedient to appoint a Deputy
Treasurer for the Township of Augusta;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta
enacts as follows:
1. THAT Mark McDonald is hereby appointed Deputy Treasurer for the
Township of Augusta effective July 31, 2017;
2. THAT remuneration of the Deputy Treasurer shall be fixed by Council
from time to time;
3. THAT this By-law may be referred to as the DEPUTY TREASURER
APPOINTMENT BY-LAW.
4. That by-law 3183-2015 and all other by-laws inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed.
