BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY CLERK FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA

CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
BY-LAW NUMBER 3456-2020
BEING A BY -LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY CLERK
FOR THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS Section 228(2) of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 2001, as amended,
provides that Council may appoint Deputy Clerks who have all the powers and
duties of the Clerk under this and any other Act
AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable and expedient to appoint a Deputy
Clerk for the Township of Augusta;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Augusta
enacts as follows:
1. THAT Vikki Werner-Mackeler is hereby appointed Deputy Clerk for the
Township of Augusta effective January 5, 2020;
2. THAT this By-law may be referred to as the DEPUTY CLERK
APPOINTMENT BY-LAW.
