BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT BUILDING OFFICIALS
FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF AUGUSTA
WHEREAS 3(2) of the Building Code Act, 1992, SD. 1992, c. 23, as
amended, provides that the Council of each municipality shall appoint a chief
building official and such inspectors as are necessary for the enforcement of
said Act.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Township of Augusta deems it necessary
and expedient to appoint Dwane Crawford and Roger Huttmann to enforce
the Building Code Act, as assigned by the Township.
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township ofโ
Augusta enacts as follows:
1. THAT Dwane Crawford is hereby appointed as Building Inspector to
act on behalf of the Chief Building Official and that as a Building
Official, shall perform the duties of a Chief Building Official as set
out in the Building Code Act, 1992, 5.0. 1992, c. 23, as amended
as directed by the Chief Building Official or the Chief Administrative
Officer.
2. THAT Roger Huttmann is hereby appointed as Building Inspector to
act on behalf of the Chief Building Official and that as a Building
Official, shall perform the duties of a Building Official as set out in
the Building Code Act, 1992, SO. 1992, c. 23, as amended as
directed by the Chief Building Official or the Chief Administrative
Officer.
3. THAT this By-Law come into full force and effect as of the date of
