Augusta Township Will Miss a Devoted Resident – Jonas Cole (August 12, 1947-December 23, 2023)

 

 

It is with sad news that a long-time resident, Jonas Cole, passed away on December 23, 2023. Jonas had always cared about the community he lived in and participated in many events. Jonas held several key positions with Augusta Township. He was well known as a Fence Viewer, Livestock Evaluator and a member of the Planning Advisory Committee for Augusta Township. He enjoyed coming to Augusta Council meetings as a resident and was always willing to provide information to council and staff. Jonas will be missed by many residents of Augusta Township. Augusta flags are at half-mast to honour him at this time.

Visitation – Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, CR 15, Maitland Friday January 5th, 2024 5 to 8 pm and Saturday, January 6th, 2024 11 to 12:45 pm. Service at 1 pm.
