With the Township installing a new, third flag in the front yard of the Township Office in Maynard, it was determined that a new, more accessible home should be found for the plaque out front that records the history of the Township Halls. The plaque was erected by the Grenville County Historical Society in 2019.
Originally installed in the middle of the front yard, the plaque, with help from the Public Works Department, has been relocated to the front west corner of the building, closer to the parking lot so visitors can see it easier.
